Dual Classic Winner from JRHA

Mikki Queen

Mikki Queen(JPN), winner of G1/Yushun Himba, Japanese Oaks, did not disappoint the racing fans who supported her as the 2 to 1 favorite in G1/Shuka Sho, the final leg of fillies' Triple Tiara in Japan on October 18th at Kyoto racecourse, beating the quality field of 18 runners which included Let's Go Donki, winner of G1/Oka Sho, the first leg of Triple Tiara, and Touching Speech, winner of G2/Rose Stakes, the most important prep race for Shuka Sho.

Shuka Sho is the fourth win from seven starts for Mikki Queen, trained by Yasutoshi Ikee, and she has earned nearly 280 million Yen so far, which is approximately US$2.33 million. It is likely that her next start is G1/Queen Elizabeth 2 Cup on November 15th at Kyoto, where she will run against older generation for the first time.
